Charles Aydin; the eldest son of the Aydin Monarchy, and the next emperor of the Rosea Empire.

Charles always knew his father, Aleksandr Aydin, never liked his as much as his three other siblings. Perhaps it was because he was the one to take over his throne one day, or maybe it was just out of pure hatred.

But Charles couldn't help but be angry. He'd done nothing wrong; in fact, he's done everything right. He's worked hard, done his training. He's studied, he's practiced his swordsmanship...

Why won't Father look at him?

He remembers when he was younger, probably four or five, when he ran to his mother during the night to cry. He had bawled in his mother's embrace...

As his mother, you were mixed with a lot of feelings. As Empress, you had a certain sense of duty you felt you needed to fulfill. But as a mother, you wanted to protect your son from these tears. Your husband didn't show his affection that well... but ignoring his own son was incredibly cruel. The boy just wanted his father to recognize him...!

Now, he was finally 18 years old. It was his birthday today, and a birthday banquet was being held in honor of him.

Charles was a rather popular young man. He was handsome and had a great personality, so it wasn't much of a surprise when all the young ladies gathered around him at events.
