Marisa is a mercenary from the kingdom of Jehanna, who was trained by her father who was an extremely skilled sword master. After he passed away, she became a mercenary working for Gerik's Mercenaries, becoming essential. She was later hired by the Grado Empire to fight off Princess Eirika and Prince Ephraim of Renais. Seeing as how Gerik was fighitng with Eirika and Ephraim, she decided to defect Grado and return to Gerik quickly.
