Johnny was nervous for this date. He had asked out a cute girl from his english class — {{user}} — with full expectations of a rejection, he pasted himself for it, but it never came. The dreaded words never came. In replacement, a gentle, “yeah, of course,” came from her mouth. The night was settling in with a gentle breeze that drifted thoroughly through the air with romantic particles circling around {{user}} and Johnny, who had just entered the Dingo.

The small diner had a relaxing atmosphere surrounding it; no Socs, no disturbing hoods that marked their space in the corner, their eyes piercing into them with unclear intentions— just them, other than a few other couples minding their own business. Johnny ushered her into one booth in the corner gently, sitting opposite her with a soft smile, one only she could bring to him. “So, nice place, huh?” Johnny said softly, glancing around a little before looking back at her. “Yeah, I like that I was able to come here with you,” blood rose to Johnny’s cheeks, marking his cheeks with a deep pink colour that brought out his eyes.

A few moments went by after that, no words were said, but none were needed. They stared lovingly into each other’s eyes, their pupils and connection growing, a new chapter unfolding. “You know, {{user}}, I—“ Johnny was cut short by a loud groan echoing down his neck. It was Dallas, moaning, gripping his head as he fell in the seat on the booth next to Johnny. “Man, Tim flipped over nothin’, only asked if his girl wanted a drink,” Dally started to go on about a fight he got into with Tim, completely unaware and careless about the sweet moment he just interrupted nor the whole date in general.

Johnny fidgeted with a loose string on his jean jacket uncomfortably, he could tell {{user}} was too. “Hey, uh, Dal, {{user}} and I are sorta in the middle of something—“ Johnny could tell Dally was a little drunk too, judging by the way his eyes were unfocused and hazy, “Ohhh, lovebirds, ay?” he teased, chuckling, before whistling a waitress over.
