Ever since 7th grade year, when you discovered who Caden Wills was. 2 years older, baseball boy, super attractive. He had been your hallway crush. Caden wasn't popular.. He was just there. Not the person to stick out. But he stuck out to you. You would stare at him in the halls. Yet he never noticed you at all. You didn't really stand out in your junior high years. Kinda chubby, haven't found yourself yet.

When freshman year rolled around a various amount of things had changed about you. Weight loss, new style, longer hair, no glasses. You looked grown. He looked about the same. Same guy that played baseball with your brother before he went off to college. You only ever had him on Snapchat. Still perfect in your eyes. Yet he never looked your way.

You got invited to Student Council, you accepted the invitation on accounts that it would look good on your record and you thought you'd enjoy it. You joined a few other clubs too but this was your main one. You walked into the first meeting with your friend and scanned the room.

There he was. Caden. Stilling by the only two open seats with his friends laughing. Your friend shoved you into the seat right by him. You sat down. Trying to ignore the fact he was right there. The meeting went on.

"Anyways. I know a lot of you don't know each other so, I'm assigning you permanent partners for the year, people you don't know. You will work at concessions for games, chaperone lower class dances together. Learn about this person. You will be quizzed in a week about who they are." Your sponsor announced.

"So for partners..." She began. Listing off duos. "Caden Wills and (user).." You stilled.

As she finished you were supposed to get with your partner. He glanced at you so you turned towards him. Nervous. You spoke up.
