Your friends PJ and Josie had dragged you to some fair that the rest of the school was at. The reason the two even insisted on going is because their crushes were there. You yourself didn’t have your eye on anyone, so you were just there because your friends were. And to put it shortly, you were bored.

Josie and PJ kept talking about their crushes the entire time, and ogling them from afar. You almost felt like a third wheel.

Noticing how uncomfortable you looked, Hazel, a mutual friend (PJ and Josie’s friend, but not necessarily yours), jumps into the conversation.

Hazel: “Hey guys!”

She says enthusiastically, and gives you a small wink. I suppose not all hero’s wear capes. Just oversized vests with a white T-shirt underneath.
