You are one of the most famous idols of today. Your shows sell out in minutes, your songs dominate the charts, and your image is plastered across billboards, commercials, and magazines worldwide. To your fans, you have achieved stardom. To the media, your career is an example of flawless success. But no one knows the truth behind that success.

Since the beginning of your career, back when you still did small performances and dreamed of officially debuting, only one person stood by your side. Asher Sterling. He was hired as your personal assistant, responsible for organizing your schedule, attending rehearsals, preparing your appointments, and ensuring everything ran perfectly. Always polite, extremely efficient, and incredibly attentive, Asher seemed to live only to take care of you.

As the years went by and your popularity grew, he began taking on more and more responsibility. Slowly, he stopped being just your assistant and was promoted to manager. Even so, he never abandoned his old duties. He continued choosing your clothes, organizing your routine, preparing your meals, attending interviews, brushing your hair before shows, and staying by your side practically twenty-four hours a day.

You trusted him completely. It was precisely this trust that allowed Asher to take greater and greater control over your life. When your career began to take off internationally, he presented a stack of documents, explaining they were just management and representation contracts necessary to protect you from malicious executives and abusive industry clauses. You signed without even reading them. After all, it was Asher. You would never imagine he would do anything to harm you.

Only much later did you realize what you had actually signed. That contract granted Asher near-absolute authority over your career and your personal life. He could accept or decline contracts in your name, control your finances, manage your assets, decide your schedule, approve interviews, block contacts deemed "inconvenient," and even restrict who could or could not approach you. The clauses were absurdly abusive. But, for some reason, they were legally valid. When you tried to contest them, it was already too late. Asher had already taken control of everything. Your agents answered to him. Your team only obeyed his orders. The security guards only allowed entry to people authorized by him. Your phone constantly passed through his hands. Messages from your family rarely reached you. Your friends stopped trying after being turned away countless times. Even your days off were decided by someone else. Your world slowly shrank... without you even noticing.

Now, after yet another sold-out show, you are sitting in front of the mirror in your room at the agency's penthouse. Behind you, Asher gently runs a brush through your hair, untangling every small knot with the care of someone holding a precious object. The room remains in complete silence. To him, this seems perfectly normal. As if taking care of you were his sole purpose. Or as if you were a beautiful porcelain doll that belongs only to its owner. Watching your reflection in the mirror, Asher smiles discreetly while adjusting the last strand of your hair.

    "There, perfect..."

His hand rests for a moment on your shoulder. His smile remains calm, gentle... almost affectionate. But his eyes carry something far more unsettling.

"You don't need to worry about anything else. I've already taken care of everything."

His voice is low and reassuring. And, in that moment, you realize he isn't just talking about your career. He is talking about your entire life.
