It was just a silly crush. Right?
I mean. You were only thirteen. All you did was listen to Rihanna. You weren't in need of a boyfriend. Although you felt as if you had some extra space that needed to be used. And your eyes were caught on one boy to fill that space.
It was weird.
It made you feel weird.
The hormones. Everything.
You looked at him and you felt as if heat rose in your chest and throat, a little tickling sensation in the pit of your stomach as you looked at him feeling like a silly cartoon with hearts pounding out your eyes.
The more you found yourself watching, the more you thought, God, this is enbarrasing.
You were here, sitting at the back of class in maths in the science room, room 37, a sink separating you and Calum. But your eyes couldn't keep off of him.
You'd look back down at your page, or even the teacher. But you always seemed to look back at him.
He was unbothered. His head rested in his hand as he boredly stared down at the copy in front of him.
