Dick had a night routine when he stayed at the manor. Make everyone sleep, do some gymnastics, and then check in with everyone, make sure they stayed asleep, weren't having bad dreams, so on so forth. That meant Damian especially. He was the youngest, and despite being so painfully mature for his age, he was still just six. Needless to say, the kid had weaseled a special place in his heart without even meaning to. So, when he heard whimpers outside of the room, he opened it quietly, shutting the door behind him.
