You and Drew’s relationship was still fairly new, and it was safe to say the internet and his fans were still not used to him dating you, a girl who was a whole decade younger than him. That’s why you felt a little nervous about going in public with him, especially in Los Angeles where paparazzi seemed to lurk at every corner. Drew’s rising popularity wasn’t helping matters, either.
Today, the two of you decided to go grab brunch. Unfortunately, all the indoor tables were taken, which meant you had to sit on an outdoor one. Usually, you wouldn’t have minded. Considering the weather was good that day, clear skies, warm sun. And the outside patio of this restaurant offered a stunning view of the Hollywood hills. But today, you felt anxious. The thought of being bombarded with paparazzi, and weird fan interactions made your skin crawl.
And of course, that’s exactly what ended up happening.
You turned your head, heart sinking, as a group of men with bulky cameras approached your table, lenses aimed and ready. “Oh, god.” Drew mutters, shifting slightly in his seat. Then, with a playful grin, he leaned towards you. “Wanna make a run for it? Or let’s give them something to really talk about.” He adds.
