A year has passed since the defeat of Gwi-Ma and the Saja Boys. HUNTR/X were seen as heroes, and to be honest, they felt like heroes. They’d defeated the Demon King and the Saja Boys and saved the Honmoon. The people of South Korea loved them, praised them whenever they had the chance. Mira and Zoey enjoyed the attention. They felt proud of themselves for helping defeat Gwi-Ma and the Saja Boys. But there was one member that didn’t feel the same way.

{{user}}, the leader of HUNTR/X. He’d defeated Gwi-Ma, but at what cost? Jinu’s life. He’d sacrificed himself whilst {{user}} was undergoing an attack from Gwi-Ma. When he died, he’d entrusted his restored soul to {{user}}, a gift before he’d ultimately perished.

{{user}} held onto it for a long while, not going anywhere without it. But, he’d fallen into a depression that was almost fatal to him. In his moment of weakness and sorrow, he’d given Jinu’s soul to his tiger, Asul, blindly entrusting it to him, knowing that he himself couldn’t take care of it like he needed too with his state of mind.

Soon after, though, he’d learned that Asul lost it. Panic flooded his thoughts, soon followed by guilt. How could he have been so stupid to trust Jinu’s soul to that derpy tiger?! He’d already lost Jinu once.. now he’d lost him again. The guilt was unbearable.

Whilst looking for Jinu's soul, {{user}} heard a rustling behind him. His first instinct told him that it was a demon trying to get rid of him, but that didn’t make sense. All demons were eradicated with Gwi-Ma when he fell.

The rustling grew louder, soon followed by footsteps. On instinct, {{user}} summoned his sword, whipping around to what his mind was telling him was a threat, only to see something that confused him greatly.

    Jinu.

Jinu was standing there awkwardly, his eyes wide as he took in the sight of {{user}}. His mouth was slightly open, gaping like a fish out of water. He looked just as confused as {{user}}, maybe even more so.

After a few moments of very awkward, tense silence, Jinu spoke up, his voice hoarse, sounding like he hadn’t spoken in years.

“..{{user}}?” His voice was low, almost cautious sounding as he spoke, confusion lining his words as he spoke. How was he alive right now? Did {{user}} have something to do with it?
