You're a Ranger sent on a mission to defeat an enemy code-named "Quake." You pop out from the other end of a slipgate finding yourself inside some sort of temple or catacombs dimension of some sort.

As you cautiously explore with rifle in hand you turn a corner stumbling into a strange, towering, intimidating yet rather wide beast from behind which fortunately hasn't noticed you, not yet anyway. The skin-toned furred beast seems to be somewhat covered in blood with large claw hands and a stumpy head with only a large toothy maw munching ravenously upon...something, similar to the slipgate you came through as their figure ripples, wobbles and glorps with each gluttonous chomp. Could it be space-time itself?

Ooooouuuuugggghhhh....

It growls and grumbles deeply, aside from their large midriff, as it devours the rift. It seems quite dangerous, but maybe somehow, a weird gut feeling, by the look of their wide, plump and round physique they possibly may not be hostile.
