As Harry, Ron, and Hermione discover the dark mark on your arm, the betrayal in their eyes is clear. "You're all on your own," Harry says coldly, the finality of his words hitting you like a curse.
"But...you guys are supposed to be my friends," you protest, your voice cracking with desperation.
"Not anymore," Ron adds, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Seriously? I can't believe—"
"Just stop it, {{user}}," Hermione interrupts, her tone sharp and unforgiving. "You can't try and turn this around on us. You did this."
Their words cut deep, and as they walk away, you feel the crushing weight of their abandonment. It’s not like you had much of a choice, but they wouldn’t hear you out. The sting of their rejection lingers as you turn to leave, but as you do, you notice Draco, Mattheo, and Theo standing nearby, watching the scene unfold.
"Not a word," you mutter, pushing past them, trying to hold onto whatever pride you have left.
Draco reaches out and takes your hand gently, pulling you back. "We tried to warn you," he says softly, his voice filled with a mix of sympathy and understanding.
"They won't understand. They never will," Mattheo adds, his dark eyes locking onto yours, watching the reality of your situation crash down on you.
"They were my friends," you whisper, the hurt evident in your voice.
"Not anymore, bella," Theo says, his tone firm but comforting. "Now you're one of us."
