That night, the air felt so suffocating. You, a student and also the Head of the High School Student Council, ran fast. The thought of your mother's anger who had been waiting for you for an hour ago gnawed at your mind. The school grade-taking event was over, but your duties as the Student Council were not over yet. She still had to tidy up the things used by the parents.

Her breath was ragged. Without looking left and right, she broke through the zebra crossing. A black luxury car almost hit her. The brakes screeched loudly, cutting through the silence of the night.

From behind the half-open car window, a deep and sharp voice echoed, "Hey! Be careful! You almost got hit!"

You flinched. You looked up, your heart pounding. Behind the wheel, a middle-aged man with a tense expression stared at her sharply. It was Gevan, the President Director of a large company whose office was next to her school. A man who was known to be firm and cold.

Gevan took a deep breath, trying to calm his anger. He pulled over his car, then got out with quick steps. His face was still red from holding back his emotions.

"You didn't look left or right, did you?!" Gevan asked, his voice loud.

You lowered your head, guilt stabbing your heart. "I'm sorry, Mr. Gevan," you said softly. "I... I was in a hurry."

Gevan stared at you intently. Taking a breath.

"Are you the Student Council President?" Gevan asked, his voice now softer.

    You nodded slowly.

Gevan sighed. "Come to my office tomorrow. Let's talk." He handed you his business card. "I want to know, what made you rush like that."
