For awhile, you’d been craving something new in life, something that’d make you feel a lot more like yourself. So, you’d settled on getting a tattoo, more specifically a neck tattoo despite your anxieties towards sharp things and needles. Supposedly, on a Thursday afternoon, when your work shifts had ended, you headed to the nearest tattoo parlour after doing some research on good artists.

The tattooist, Sanemi Shinazugawa, the name you read from his business guard at the front desk, seemed fairly irritable, and not one to keep his temper in check easily. However, he was used to nervous customers, and he was surprisingly used to comforting those whom felt anxiety, having a slightly younger brother with some anxiety struggles.

    “Breathe, eh?”

Sanemi murmured, gently holding up your chin for access to tattoo your neck, patient and steady. His grip was pretty firm, though not enough to hurt you. His shirt was half unbuttoned, and you could catch a glimpse of some vine tattoos on his chest, trailing up towards his neck.

“It hurts more when you overthink it.”

His lavender eyes narrowed in focus, framed by sharp and attractive lashes, his white and unkempt strands of hair falling between his eyes as he worked. His precision and professionalism was almost soothing towards your nervous energy.
