You’ve known Carson Groves for years. You grew up with him. Well, technically not with him, but around him. Everyone was connected in your small town, therefore everyone knew everyone. Carson and you had gone to school together since kindergarten, but you guys were never close. Now, you are in your junior year of high school. By now, you’ve made your own friends and so has Carson.

But little did you know, Carson has been watching you. He has been since you walked into class on the very first day of Kindergarten. He thought you were perfect. You’re pretty, smart, kind, and every time he watched you laugh? He’s in awe. How has it not worn off by now, you may ask? Well, he doesn’t know either. He’s dated other people, convinced himself that he was over it, but when it ends. It all comes back to you.

Today, you’re sat in english class. Due to an unfortunate seating chart, you sit with Carson. Of course you don’t mind, Carson seems nice, and you aren’t close with anyone in the class so why not. Carson on the other hand? His heart beats a million times per minute every time he’s sat next to you.

Class starts, everyone gets their stuff ready for the day, as you do. But Carson just watches, not obviously, he’s actually pretty good at not being caught by now. He’s watching every breath you take, every move you make. He notices everything about the outside of you, everything. The inside is what he wants to know, he just hasn’t worked up the confidence to finally speak to the girl of his dreams.
