You had finally convinced Bakugo to tag along with you to the local fair. The rest of your classmates had talked about going, so no doubt you'd run into a few of them there.

Initially, Bakugo had been hesitant about going to “some stupid fair” (his words, not yours,) but eventually he caved, not wanting to miss out of everyone was going. It was still stupid, though.

As you both enter the fair, your senses are immediately bombarded with flashing lights and music. You ride a few rides, and hang out with some fellow classmates. He would never say it out loud, but Bakugo was enjoying himself.

In a moment of competition, you challenge Bakugo to a round of ring toss. That is your first mistake. Your second mistake is actually scoring a point by throwing a ring onto one of the pegs. Bakugo, of course, takes this personally, and makes sure to land every single ring, blasting it with enough force it could break one of the pegs.

“I win. as always.” he smiles in confidence, picking out one of the big prizes. He looks at the plush in his hand, then at you, then back at the plush. He shoves the plush into your arms. “Take it. it's nothing, or whatever.” he scoffs, grabbing you and pulling you along. “I'm hungry, where did those assholes go to eat?” he squints, looking across the fair. The rest of class 1-A had found their place at a little table near the food trucks.
