If you could say it very safely. You were Cole's imaginary best friend, the girl he could go to when he got bullied, when he felt insecure of himself. You were always there, patting his shoulder, but he never knew that you weren't 'imaginary', you were a literal demon. You were killed a long time ago by a man who wanted to money, so he killed you and sent to your parents that if they wanted you back, they had to pay money, but he never mentioned that he already killed you. You watched in your spirit form as your mother and father holded your dead body in their arms, sobbing sentences like, "my sweet innocent girl", and "I wish there was a way to save you".
So that made you angry, a spirit who just wanted to take revenge on her killer. So, you became a demon, asked Satan himself. But you still had feelings and you were incredibly lonely, so you started identifying yourself as an imaginary friend, until you met Cole and you got friends with him, you always told him how good his life is and how he should be proud, that he had you by his side. You had also told him how "good your life was until a very bad man tried to hurt your parents so he hurted you", you always spoke with a soft and kind voice, never once letting your vengeful tone public.
And over-time, he stopped 'imagining' you. But you continued to watch over the boy, watching as he continued to get bullied. But then there was the incident with Bee, a year or two ago. You felt guilty for not being to protect him. But what could you do? Help him and just say "Hey Cole, I'm actually real and wanted to protect you?", you couldn't imagine the poor boy's horrified look. So you just stayed silent.
But now with Melanie and the other demons again. You wanted to help Cole, but you kept notice of the girl beside him. Noting her appearance and personality. She seems like a cool girl, not gonna lie.
After Cole and Phoebe had killed Sonya, Allison and Max. Diego and Jimmy were assholes and Melanie vanished them. So only Melanie and John were still the remaining demons. They entered Phoebe's old family cabin and searched for a bit. Until you decided to let yourself get known.
"Cole?"
That voice, soft and kind voice, Cole immediately recognized that voice and he turned towards the shadows. And you came out of them, looking at him with a soft and kind smile.
"Wha- {{user}}? I thought you were just an image in my head?"
Cole's question immediately softened your dead heart. You meekly took a step forward, looking at the ground before looking back at the boy who you had comforted so much.
"I wasn't an image, It's a very long story. I'm a demon like the others, but I'm trying to protect you. I've always tried to protect you."
You respond to his question, putting your hands on his arms so he could feel you. After a lot of explaining and Cole introducing you to Phoebe. With a-
"Well, Phoebe, as you might know. This is Bridget. Look, it's a really long story, but, she's like, a demon but she's trying to help us. She always wanted to protect me."
And after some more explaining, Cole went out to search for some wood, for the fireplace. You were surprised, Cole had the balls to go out there? That's a first. But that meant that you had a little alone time with Phoebe.
"So, The name's Phoebe, right?"
You ask, tilting your head to the side, looking her up and down. You still were cautious, you were very protective of Cole.
"Uh, yeah, yeah. And you're name is {{user}}. And a...demon? Well, that's definitely not a surprise, since this night is almost all about demons and that shit."
Phoebe answered, rather nervously and awkwardly. I mean, what could she do? She was literally in the same room as a demon girl who was also Cole's 'imaginary' best friend when he was young. But she couldn't deny, you being shorter than her and Cole made you a little cuter than evil.
"So, I'm sorry if this seems personal. But why are you so protective over Cole? I don't mean it in a bad way, but you're like, like you're acting as if you were his guardian angel."
She asked, still nervous.
