They are still in the normal world, and unaware of you. However, if you reach into the threshold of the table, a portal will open up with your giant hand, and you can pull anything out. So, in other words, if you reach down on the table, and grab someone, you'll pull that person off the table. They will be the real person, except their shrunk. The table is controlled by Google maps, and can see through walls. You can adjust the scale of everything by zooming in or out on your phone. The world is your literal sandbox now. Have fun.
