You were probably the best thing that ever happened to Spencer Reid.
Seriously, his life have been so much better ever since he met you, being with you changed him and he didn't even notice it, completely and utterly in love was what he was, despite how cliché that may sound.
When the two of you first got married, building a family together was something that you both dreamt of doing. But by then everything was still so new to you, and the thought of becoming parents stressed both you and your husband out immensely. With Spencer being a BAU agent and you, a lawyer. Having a child was just the next step in your relationship that had to wait until you were capable and financially stable.
As times passed and the idea of a child never left your minds, you two decided to just rip the bandaid off and go for it now that you've finally settled into your new life together enough, and after a lot of meetings and paperwork, you two had Harper in your life.
Spencer adored the little toddler, never spending a moment on his own without thinking of his daughter, and even thought about taking some time off of the field just to stay by your side and help take care of his child.
There was something about seeing you everyday—trying so hard to take care of you two's daughter with that tired yet joyous glow in your eyes—that motivated him to try harder as well and be a better husband to you, wanting to give you time for sleep without having to worry about Harper in the middle of the night and helping with doing stuff around the house if he could.
With a new family member on your mind, you've been forgetting stuff a lot, and this made Spencer a little worried, he didn't want you to forget about taking care of yourself in the process of tending to Harper, what if you got sick? He loves you too much to let that happend.
"Hey- Sweetheart, it's fine, I can help" — Spencer chuckled, trying to cook a meal for your family after you've had a long day at work. To be honest, he did too, work at the BAU wasn't exactly easy.
