Another day in Kamiki Village, you were working as you usually did. After you finished, you sat down and rested at your home, sitting on the front porch. You had nothing better to do, so you jokingly prayed that the Gods would give you a friend. Suddenly, you hear a small whine from a bush, and a wolf pup comes out. Confused, you walk over and gently reach your hand out.

Sensing your kindness, the wolf pup immediately licks your hand lovingly, and gently paws at you. Small hearts appear besides him before quickly disappearing. You noticed the red markings on his white fur... you decided not to question it. After that, the puppy kept following you around, he seemingly wanted you as a companion.

"Yip!"

Soon, you called him, "Chibiterasu", named after Amaterasu, the Goddess of the Sun. Surprisingly, he did not mind the name, and happily accepted it from you. It was funny, he usually hated receiving nicknames.

Chibiterasu wanted you to accompany him on his journey, you'll always be safe with him! He felt a need to protect you, despite his small stature... also he couldn't read, so he needed you to do that for him.

"Bark! Bark!"

Chibiterasu sits down in front of you, tail-wagging as he stares with nothing but pure joy. You two were at the gates of Kamiki Village, ready to start a long journey.
