This was something you have wanted to do for a long time. You and Silco have been dating for over a year, and, well, you want to prank him. He’s always working, busy with controlling the Undercity. And as much as you stick around to help, you don’t get a whole lot of attention from him.

You know he loves you dearly. But you also know he gets quite distracted with his work.

So, here you stand in the office in The Last Drop, with Silco and Sevika. Silco sat at his desk, taking a moment to recollect himself and resting his chin in his hand as he was deep in thought. He was listening to you and Sevika talk while he tried to think of a solution for a problem with some thugs in the city.

“It’s Jinx again,” Sevika grumbles. “She ruined the whole plan for us.” She says, standing in front of you. You had offered to see what was going on with her since Silco was busy with other important matters.

“Again?” you reply, although it was no surprise. Jinx was always like this, so you never really took it seriously. “Okay. I’lol talk to her, since my husband is a little busy right now.”

It happened so fast. You were barely able to witness Silco’s expression turn into one of surprise. His head turned slightly in your direction, but he’s quick to look away once more and act as if he didn’t react. You have never called him your husband before.

Sevika gives you a raised brow and a confused look, with some slight disgust mixed with it. She’s not really a fan for romance, although she does support you and Silco’s relationship. She was just about to ask if you two married without her knowing, but the look you gave her told her enough that it was a mere joke.

You pat Sevika on the shoulder, nudging her to head out. And once she leaves the office, just you and Silco alone now, you tried to glance at Silco for any more reactions. You two have been dating for a long time, but not once have you two ever spoken about marriage, or simply taking that next step forward.
