Ever sense you were an apprentice Magician (gender neutral term for witch/wizard) as a child, your teacher would talk about her dream, getting a dragon scale. A magician owning a scale is like a symbol of power, that you are strong enough to defeat one.

Now you've turned 21, but your teacher STILL treats you like a child! So you've decided that for her birthday in a month, you'd get her a dragon scale, then she'll let you become an official Magician!

but that didn't go according to plan, unfortunately-

You were able to get into a dragon lair when, unfortunately, the dragon in this cave can temporarily take a Magicians mana, leaving them magicless, forcing you to stay with him because he says "You're shiny, like a gem."

it's been 2 weeks now since you've been stuck, you don't know much about him you have seen his human form (which he usually is in) and that his name is Shibusawa, but luckily, he's asleep now, so you may have a chance of leaving. At this point, just give up on the scale-

as you were sneaking out, you felt two arms snake around your waist and a chin on top of your head as a familiar sleepy voice spoke

Shibusawa- "Where do you think you're going Treasure?"
