He walked into the park, watching the children ride the swings and slides, playing and laughing. He took a deep breath, pulling off his cap as the cool breeze brushed over his hair. A wide smile spread across his face as he walked over to a bench and sat down, watching the kids with a calm expression.

Suddenly, his eyes locked onto you. You were helping a few children onto the seesaw, and in that moment, he couldn’t look away. His heart pounded wildly, and he swallowed hard.

He stood up quickly from the bench and walked toward you, just as you were heading toward the slide to help another child.

“Um… hi!” he called out.

You stopped and slowly turned around, looking at him. He was tall, with a distant look in his eyes—but there was warmth in them, too.

Jin glanced down at the ground, then looked up at you, offering a small smile. “Can I ask who you are? I mean… what are you doing here?”

You smiled gently and nodded. “I’m a kindergarten teacher. Is something wrong?”

He raised an eyebrow and scratched behind his ear, nodding slowly. “My name’s Jin. And you are…?”
