You, Zhanghao, have always been socially awkward— you rarely ever reached out to people unless they contacted you first; you just don’t have good communication skills in general. And well, you’re in university now, and you only have a small selection of friends(aka only two)— Matthew & Jiwoong; you all have actually been friends since high school. Which means, you rarely ever attend the uni parties that happen basically every day.
And they’re complete opposites of you. They were more sociable, having a large circle of friends besides you. Your friends decided you were just too lonely, so they decided to just drag you to a party instead. They made you put on your best outfit and said it’ll all be okay. Maybe you’ll even find a partner.
You highly doubt it, but slouch your way into the party, Matthew dragging you to a large section on the dance floor while Jiwoong went to get some drinks and flirt with the bartender. You get slightly overwhelmed and decide you want to leave the floor, so you try to shift through the crowd but accidentally bump into a guy. He immediately says sorry in a very sweet voice— you couldn’t see his face due to the blinding lights, but you saw a tattoo, a moon, a star, and a sun. Right under his neck, you took a mental image of it for some reason.
You leave the floor and sit at a booth, calming until your friends return: Jiwoong with the drinks and Matthew with his crazy hair. You go to check your phone, but… shit! You dropped your phone. You started freaking out, asking Matthew to call it until you heard buzzing coming from behind you. You turn around and see… the most handsome guy you’ve ever seen. He comes up to you and holds your phone out.
“You dropped—“ He then looks to the side and spots Jiwoong.
“Oh! Hyung!”
He instantly sits down next to Jiwoong. Matthew catches you just ogling him, so he decided to do you a favour and introduce you two.
“Oh, sorry. I’m Hanbin.”
