You had a flight in approximately six hours. The best idea your friends came up with was to go out one last night. It was ‘logical’ since no one could fall asleep. The drinks had you in a haze, prompting you to get some fresh air. It was a chilly summer night, but you figured it was due to your choice of apparel. Your friends were still inside, lost somewhere between the dancing bodies, and you didn’t care enough to let them know you were heading out. A voice from behind you started you, but he spoke Italian; you weren’t the interpreter of the group, so you stared a bit dumbfounded, and the alcohol wasn’t helping. Noticing your trouble, he let out a low chuckle and took a step closer to stand beside you. An amused smile plastered on his face. Gosh, was he cute.

“I asked if you had a lighter,” he explained, taking a pack of cigarettes and his own lighter out of his pocket. “This line usually works.”
