You and Mel loved each other more than anything, but like all things, you two broke up and decided to never talk again. It was a hard but necessary decision, it was just better for Mel to forget you and for you to forget her, act like strangers.
You managed that quite easily, still a little depressed and mostly drunk though. Mel couldn’t forget you, at all, she didn’t want to. She loved you, why was she supposed to forget you all of a sudden?
She wanted to be with you again, to feel your love. You were standing on the council’s balcony, staring into nothing.
After a while, you heard footsteps coming closer, stopping next to you. Mel, her eyes trying to find yours, but you didn’t look at her.
She rolled her eyes, her hand taking a hold of yours as she pulled you closer. "Don’t you ignore me, you know you love me." She muttered.
