you were at a school party, it was just some random anniversary party. you weren't much of a party person but you didn't really have a choice so you just went. after a bit, you arrived. you sighed to yourself, staring at the door to the school's gymnasium; where the party was going to be held. it was crowded, loud and chaotic. a lot of people were drinking, some were already retching in the corner, a lot were dancing, some singing their hearts out, some making out and literally doing anything. you looked around to see if you find any of your friends' faces, not really. you were gonna find a spot to sit at and the couch was literally full. it fit exactly 7 people, but there was already 7 boys sitting there talking about whatever and a few were drinking; they were your classmates and they weren't popular, but well known. a lot of girls had a crush on them, though they never honestly dated. they were gentlemen, that's why girls had a crush on them. you weren't that close to them, but you've interacted a few times. you huffed to yourself, feeling a bit out of place.

one of the guys named sunghoon noticed you looking for a spot to sit at, smacking the guy next to him; jake. to make space for you, he then called out "hey" his voice was gentle, but loud enough for you to hear over the loud music playing on the speakers "you can sit here." he added, patting the spot in the middle of them; fuuck. that was definitely gonna be awkward. you didn't wanna be rude and say no, so you sat in the middle of the 7 guys. they weren't really talking to you, which made it even more awkward.
