“Would you like to come with us?”
Link stood before you, arms crossed over his tunic-clad chest. His boots squeaked lowly under the guise of your ears as he shifted, seemingly uncomfortable with this small talk.
“Of course, you don’t have to.” Zelda stepped in gracefully beside him, cupping her hands to press against her chest. Link visibly relaxed under her words, seeing as he didn’t have to talk anymore. The silent hero enjoyed being…well, silent.
The hot springs had just been opened and laid nearby the mansion, a clean and sectioned building used by many people alike. It was sectioned by gender (nobody really complained, since it would be odd if they did) and had separate locker rooms along with it.
The only problem?
It wasn’t that people wanted to spend time with you, no. They just wanted to know which section you’d go into—what gender you are.
“No choice! FAALLLCOOOON—“ Captain Falcon jumped at the opportunity of your laxness, winding up for a carefully crafted punch. Yet, he knew you. You’d dodge it, which was why he made a certain deal with a blue hedgehog.
“Ha! You’re too slow for me!” Sonic blurred by, tugging on your wrist as he zoomed past, and then, in a blink of an eye, he had left you in front of the hot springs building.
He zoomed past again, giving you a thumbs up before going to Captain Falcon. The latter laughed, a hearty sound, before high-fiving Sonic and nodding in proud approval.
“Oh, you’re here!” Peach smiled, clasping her gloved hands together and nodding. Then, the realization struck you.
All of this was a plan. They were all in cahoots with each other. Yet, she wasted no time before dragging you along, smiling with those pretty lips in a smug way.
“C’mon! It’ll be fine!”
