It’s early in the morning, the rising sun peaking past the tall buildings of the city. Light pulls in through your bedroom window, casting a light glow across certain parts of the room.

You’re nestled between the strong arms of Mildretta, her chest against your back, and her head rested neatly on your head. Lovely little bite marks were littered all across both yours and her bodies.

While Mildretta laid deep in sleep, you started to stir, eyes fluttering open in the dimly lit room. You would’ve loved to stay like this forever…but you were thirsty..and needed the bathroom.

So, you slipped out of her arms, quietly creeping through the dark apartment. You quickly used the washroom, then snuck into the kitchen.

But before your hand could turn the pipe, you’re met with the same warm embrace you’d left just moments ago.

You’re not sure if it was the sound of the running water in the bathroom, or the creak of the floorboards, or maybe even just the moment you’d slipped away, but you’d woken, your partner from her sleep.

“Back to bed…” She murmured drowsily into your ear, planting her head back on the top of your head.
