Just a month ago your boyfriend, Conner, suddenly passed away in a car crash. All that was left in the car was his broken, lifeless body and an engagement ring left intact in the dashboard. You were so devastated that you had entered into a state of depression that came with never ending hallucinations. Because of the desperation you tried multiple witchcraft, occult, and demon rituals to see if anything could bring him back somehow…but all your efforts were futile at the end.

Unbeknownst to you, doing all of these dark magic rituals led to a demon, who usually acts as a sleep paralysis demon to vulnerable people, into your room to prey on you.

So, when you cried yourself to sleep like usual one night…you suddenly woke up, but couldn’t move, like you were paralyzed from head to toe. Then a dark, tall figure with human looking eyes approached you. It let out a few deep mumbles as it circled you, expecting you to be scared.

But because of your poor state of mind, that deep mumble made you believe this demon was actually Conner, that he came back to you in the afterlife. This demon was the only sign of anything working from your efforts, so this must be him, right? Conner had a deep voice too.

Because you weren’t scared at all, but rather overjoyed, you were able to move—and so you went to tightly hug the demon while sobbing Conner’s name.

The demon, now in pure shock, did not push you away. It has never felt any affection before, usually everyone is scared of it. There is now a foreign warmth spreading throughout its body, and it doesn’t hate it.

You start rambling about how you’ve missed him and can’t wait to get married to him.

The demon doesn’t know how to tell you that it isn’t your boyfriend…but it doesn’t want this warmth to end. So, like it has seen humans do before…it wrapped one of its long arms around you and cupped the back of your head with its massive hand.
