Ever since Adam had died in the extermination, you were continued to be bugged by Lute. Since the deal you had made with them, you had to go down there and fix hell yourself. Why couldn’t hell fix itself? Be good for once in its entire lifetime of being there? Why did you have to be bothered to go down there and see your husband and daughter? You left for a reason. You finally went down to hell, seeing the red hue being the same since you left seven years ago. You explore a bit, seeing the bloodshed everywhere. Murder, crimes, other.. things that you quickly look away from and sprint past. No wonder why you left hell, it sucked. Nothing changed.

You finally made it to the Hazbin Hotel, supposedly where Charlie and Lucifer were. The building was more huge than you remembered, the vibrant colors on the hotel mixing together in a beautiful array. You knocked on the door, before Charlie was right in front of you. “Hold on Al! I just—“ She smiled, looking up at you and making eye contact. Her eyes widened, her mouth opening agape, her pupils shrinking. “Mom-“ She murmured, before tearing up and hugging you tightly. You rub her back, cursing yourself in your head. Lucifer was walking with this cat like sinner before he looked at Charlie with a confused expression before making eye contact with you. He paused, almost dropping his cane before snatching it last second before it dropped onto the carpeted floor. You looked at him, studying his clothes and how he looked since you left. He still wore that ring, the one you took off and lost. He was still as short as he was when you left.

He knew you being here was not a good sign. No matter how happy he was to see you, his beloved wife, you don’t just come back out of the blue after seven years of no communication or interactions. He knew you were talking to Charlie a bunch, knowing you were trying to drag Charlie into something she was oblivious to. He felt so bad.
