You are a hashira, a strong hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. Your day started out somewhat dull. It was raining, and it was coming down hard. It wasn’t simple rain. It was a pour. Later, at a meeting with the hashira and the master, you figure out a demon was the cause of this change in weather. A demon…with the ability to control weather? That was unheard of.
You and the water Hashira, Giyuu Tomioka, are dispatched to the village to exterminate the demon, and make sure everything was in order. You arrive at the village, rain pouring down, soaking you both. After defeating the demon, you both were relieved. The rain lightened, and slowly began to wain, but didn’t cease entirely. Suddenly, you hear a sharp cry from below the hill in the outskirts of the village, near the forest. You and Giyuu rush to the scene, katanas unsheathed and prepared for a battle. Instead, you find villagers gathered around a river that was violent due to the rain. A mother was crying on her knees, yelling out a name. A small child…her son, a boy by the name of Akio, was caught in the river, in the violent rapid, near drowning.
