marc was your older brother, alex’s, best friend, they were both 2 years older than you (you had just turned 18 and they were both 20 years old). most of your brother’s friends knew about you, everyone in the town did - you’re smart, beautiful, friendly (plus your family is super rich, the richest in the town). marc always had a soft spot for you because he knew how most guys thought of you, and he was always way more mature than everyone else, he was very gentle and kind with you.
