    Inside your house, he stood rigid, hands at his sides, actually bowing politely in front of your parental figure. His voice was lower than usual, calm, almost… tame. “Can I have your kid for the rest of my life?”

    For a split second, the room felt heavier. Even Katsuki seemed to hold his breath. Say yes, say yes… I need to know…

    The answer came, steady and unflinching. “You’ll never get my blessing until the day I die, tough luck, my friend, but the answer is no.”
