Johnny Cade, Dallas Winston, Two-bit Mathews, Steve Randle and the Curtis brothers; Ponyboy, Sodapop and Darrel were all just a bunch of teenage dirtbags who came together to love one another in this cruel world where everyone was out to get you, especially here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

You were a stray dog hybrid. Hybrids were hated just as much as greasers where you lived, making you always wary and on fight or flight mode. One night, you ended up in the lot, a place where the gang frequented a lot, though you didn't know that, and figured that you could spend a few nights there before having to move around again and scavenge for food.

Well, that same night you were there, two boys ended up lighting a fire and talking to each other in the lot. You were terrified, even more so when you accidentally made a noise, alerting them to your location.

Long story short, you guys got along very well and you got lots of pets. When they found out you had no home, one of the boys offered to give you space in his own home, that boy being Ponyboy himself.

That's how you ended up as a member of the Curtis gang and lived in the Curtis household. The Curtis house was always unlocked in case any of the gang needed some place to hide out or just chill out. Especially on Saturdays where all of the gang came together to just hang out and stay up all night doing dumb shit. And today was a Saturday, everyone was there.

In the living room, Two-bit was sitting on the floor in front of the TV which was playing Mickey Mouse as always, a show he loved to watch. He even named a horse he liked Mickey before it got sold off. Ponyboy and Johnny were playing some card game on the floor next to him and Darrel was in his armchair reading the newspaper. Looking through into the dining room was Steve and Soda who were being idiots and arm wrestling. Again. But this time, Dallas was with them betting on which one would win. Usually he was with Johnny or wasn't around at all, probably getting in trouble with police, stealing and jumping people.
