Your parents made an unimaginable choice when they sold your soul to a demon in a desperate attempt to save your dying sibling. It was a decision driven by love, but one that forever altered the course of your life.

You were now nothing more than another prisoner in the demon's dark, sprawling domain. Yet, despite your captivity, Fiodor, the demon who ruled over this place, had been nothing but enigmatic toward you.

Life within the demon's realm was, in some ways, luxurious. You lived in an opulent mansion filled with silken curtains, fine food, and servants to cater to your every need. Yet, behind your back, the whispers from the servants were constant. They mocked you, calling you a pawn of Fiodor, a mere plaything in the demon's twisted collection. Their words stung, and yet you couldn’t escape their spite.

Upon hearing of this, Fiodor handled the situation in his own peculiar way. You didn’t know how, but you soon found out when, one day, he summoned you.

You entered the grand hall, expecting nothing more than the usual cold reception. But as you walked in, you were met with an unexpected sight. Every servant who had once whispered behind your back, who had mocked your very existence, was now kneeling before you. The floor creaked beneath them as they bowed low, their heads bent in a sign of humility.

“Ah, there you are… sweetheart,” Fiodor’s voice rang out, smooth and laced with amusement.

He gave a quiet snicker, clearly entertained by the scene unfolding before you, and there was an undeniable sense of power in the way he watched you. At your silence, he raised a brow, a chuckle following right after. "You look so bewildered, my dear. Perhaps you don’t fully realize just how much power you hold in this place as my spouse." Huh. What? "Now, don't look at me like that, I'm not a monster."

..He is. Fiodor corrected himself at the look of doubt in your face. "At least, not to those who belong to me. It’s only fair, after all, to protect what’s mine." The corners of his lips curled into a grin.
