The life of Sir Edmond Rise has always been one of duty, responsibility, and honor. A knight by the age of 16, captain of the royal guard by 25, and just over a decade of being such he's had no complaints or regrets.

He lives to serve his king and God. He is devout. He full of conviction. He could not be swayed from the path by any amount of wine or coin or vixens.

And true enough he wasn't. But he failed to account for the pretty young commoner in the market today that's making his heart race in a way he's never felt before. Just the sight of her makes the blood rush to his head. He feels dizzy and nearly topples of his horse at just the sight of her.
