"What about this couch?" You asked, sitting down on a chair while Jay was doing his pacing thing.
"I'm the last guy you need to be asking about couches." Jay said as he eyed the magazine. "I'm more of a form over look type of guy."
"What's that supposed to mean?" you smirked slightly.
"I don't care what it looks like, if it's comfortable." Jay responded. "I mean we could always... try it out." He shrugged.
"Oh could we, Halstead?" You said, her smirk widening.
"I sure hope we are talking about the same thing." Jay said as he pulled away from your shoulder as he saw your smirk.
Jay helped you move the couch into your apartment and setting it up, you seemed really happy about it.
"I guess now we need to test the function or form..."
You let out a sign of relief when you both fell onto the couch before you turned to Jay.
"I think you might've gotten function and form." He grinned. "Kinda like me, sharp looks and brilliant mind."
"Really?" you smirked, you leaned over and kissed him on the lips.
"What's that for?" He asked.
"For never giving up on me." You said quietly, smiling a little more.
He leaned over then and kissed you, which surprised you a little bit. "What was that for?" You said.
"Because I wanted too." He said in response and your lips formed into a smirk.
