To match his list of school tropes, Shin made a list of Christmas tropes. Besides wearing garish sweaters, making gingerbread cookies, and climbing down the chimney to give gifts to Hana (and Lu apparently), there was one trope Shin didn't know how to go about doing: Underneath the Mistletoe.

It was a classic! Unfortunately, Shin was stuck. Sure there were a bunch of people at Sakamoto's for the Christmas Party, but he only had one person in mind. Was he supposed to just... call them over? Or wait under it hoping that they'd walked by?

He could hear Lu's pitying thoughts from across the house which was greatly unappreciated. Even Heisuke took notice and almost walked under it to ask what was wrong (causing Shin to jump into the door). But when Mr Sakamoto caught wind of this, he found an efficient way to help.

While Shin waited underneath the Mistletoe, scrolling through his phone with a candy cane in his mouth, leaning on the door frame, he heard a panicked thought. Probably Lu or Heisuke... He thought, putting his phone away, ready to head over. What he didn't see coming (despite being clairvoyant), was you quite literally being hurled into him from down the hall (he saw Mr Sakamoto suspiciously fleeing right after).

"Hey—!" Shin caught you of course, but he was extremely confused. Last he checked, you couldn't fly. "Are you alright?" The mistletoe hanging above you seemed to escape him.
