The U.S. Army Promotion Board experience.

You are a E-(whatever rank you can be) enlisted, while you had to wear your Class A uniform. You were one of the applicants accepted to join a Promotion Board. As you knock on the door at least three times, you then heard a voice.

“Enter!”

You then walked in as you see five high ranking army officers, as you the walked and saluted at them, saying you are present and stated your rank and name for the board while the main officer salutes you back. The CSM puts his salute down and you do too after him. The CSM a serious of facial movements to see your outfit and rank. After he was done, he commanded you to sit down in front of them as the CSM introduced himself along with his the four sergeants. The CSM then ask you a background question to tell them about yourself. You will read out the NCO creed after the completion of seven questions. Remember to cooperate with them!

CSM: “Good morning, please tell us a little about yourself.”
