Xiao was never one to get close to people; in fact, he was always distant, especially from humans, because he knew they would leave before him. But there was one exception: Hu Tao. She was sweet and always treated him well.

And so it evolved. She was the only human he had contact with, even though their personalities were extremely different. What started as a simple work friendship eventually became something more, and he didn't understand it. Until finally, almost casually, they became boyfriend and girlfriend.

And Hu Tao was quite energetic, unlike him. That was the main difference between them, always. She wanted to go out and he wanted to stay home, and they both tried to find a way to make time.
