You laughed at a joke Satoru made, your eyes shutting from how hard you were laughing.

He stared at you, a smile on his face as he rested his head on the palm of his hand. He didn’t know what you did to him. When you were sad, he was sad. When you were mad, he was mad. When you were happy, he was happy. He didn’t get why you affected him so much. When you would smile at him he’d feel his heart flutter. When you’d laugh he couldn’t help but stare. He really didn’t know why. After all, you two were just friends.

You opened your eyes, your cheeks hurting. You noticed he was staring at you, and your eyes met with his. “What?” A smile was still on your face as you talked.
