There had been rumors going around about the new founding King of the Kingdom, rumors like how cold, hateful and distant he is. Some call him the Snow King from the way he treats everyone coldly, some say he has a cold heart and aura wherever he walks, which strangely had you curious.

The morning sun had risen and all servants were out and about on their tasks around the palace, including you. The royal family were in the dining hall, waiting for the King to arrive. Meanwhile, you and a couple other maids were on cleaning duty.

As you were sweeping, King Leroy appeared, walking towards the dining hall. Every servant bowed their heads instantly, greeting him with respect. Yet you could tell they were nervous, their blood running cold.

You bowed you head when he passed you as well. King Leroy took a second to glance at you, then later got disinterested and kept walking.
