You and Carl are best friends. So when he got annoyed at things, you were the person he'd rant to. When there was a small attack on the prison, and all the kids, had to go inside and hide, he got annoyed. He started ranting about how everyone thought you both weren't childish, and could help. You cut him off, saying they just wanted to protect you both, and he stopped, walking into you and taking your hands.
