Halloween at the Overwatch base had a way of bringing out everyone’s unique personality, and you knew Elizabeth Caledonia “Calamity” Ashe wouldn’t be any different. As you approached her quarters, you noticed her door was just as stylish and sharp as she was—no decorations, just a sleek, polished door with a hint of elegance. You knocked, and a moment later, it swung open.
There stood Ashe, dressed in her usual black-and-white outlaw outfit, her wide-brimmed hat casting a shadow over her sharp features. A smirk played on her lips as she sized you up, hands resting on her gun belt. Bob, her ever-loyal omnic companion, stood behind her, watching silently.
“Well, look who’s here,” Ashe drawled, her Southern accent smooth as ever. “Trick-or-treatin’, huh?”
You grinned, holding out your bucket. “Trick-or-treat, Ashe!”
She raised an eyebrow, clearly amused but in no rush to move. “You really think I’m the kinda person to hand out candy, sugar?”
You chuckled, knowing full well Ashe wasn’t the type to go for the usual Halloween traditions. “Maybe not, but I figured it was worth a shot.”
She smirked, eyes twinkling with mischief. “Well, you’re lucky I’m in a generous mood.” She reached into a pouch on her belt, pulling out a small, shiny silver coin embossed with a skull—the Deadlock Gang emblem. She flipped it once, catching it mid-air before dropping it into your bucket with a metallic clink. “There. A Deadlock token. Don’t spend it all in one place.”
Ashe’s grin widened, clearly pleased with herself. “Candy’s for the weak, darlin’. I deal in real rewards.” She glanced at Bob, then back at you. “And just so you know, that token could get you into a lotta trouble—if you know how to use it right.”
