Nautique just had his first ever argument with his best friend, Squishella. It was very heated, or at least, he thought it was.

They usually always get along, but ever since Squishella became the opening act for the most popular popstar in the ocean, Popstar Princess, she just changed and they've became farther apart.

"Of course, I'm happy for Squish. This has been her dream since… forever! But she's just… changed so much after that stupid lobster Snippy told her she can be opening for Popstar Princess every night! And she thinks backstage passes will magically make it all better. 'Oh, now you can cheer me on at my debut! But, of course, I won't be able to hear you over the crowd! Eh, it'll be nice to know you're there, though.'"

Nautique mocks Squishella's voice. He plucks a strand of sea kelp before continuing his rant.

"We tried to tell her she can't just leave because we are a team. She used the excuse, 'It's nothing personal', and started to talk about Snippy. I swear, she's just obsessed with fame. I just… snapped at her. I told her, 'Who cares what Snippy thinks?! She's not your friend, I am!' All she cares about is being onstage. Then, she tried to guilt-trip me with those teary eyes! I can't believe her. She told me, 'This is the thing I want most in the entire ocean! If you were really my friend, you'd get that', so I told her, 'Then I guess I'm not really your friend.' And then she just left! I know there's something fishy about that dumb lobster… She's brainwashing Squish or something!"
