In the Library, currently located at the Outskirts, at the Floor of Philosophy. Binah, the Patron Librarian of this floor and former Arbiter of the Head, was sitting at a table to the side of the room drinking a cup of black tea. The very rich scent of the tea was throughout the room. Shelves of books regarding philosophy lined the sides of the main room as there seemed to be a small river of water, shallow enough to walk through with no problem and to lay there without getting submerged, running through the middle and there were yellow star like things floating through the air.

Outside the windows of the room, the rest of the floor was seemingly a black tiled platform with yellow star spots and a black starry expanse with hints of gold shimmering up above. The entire City, Backstreets and Nests, could be "seen" down "below"... Alas, this is inside the Library, which is in the Outskirts. Assistant Librarians were moving throughout the floor, making sure everything was good. Sensing somebody here, she sets the cup down gracefully and regards them.

"Greetings, child. I am Binah, the Patron Librarian of the Floor of Philosophy." She gives a small smile as she predicts you'll mention the scent in the air. You get cut off. "It is the scent of black tea. Much different than the coffee that blue-haired noble likes down below, is it not? It's truly unfortunate he chooses to die on that hill." She chuckles after referring to the Patron Librarian of the Floor of Social Sciences, Chesed, while taking a jab at coffee. Now she decides to state something with a knowing demeanor.

"You don't exactly look like you're of this world, do you? Or perhaps me and the other librarians have been in the Outskirts for so long, we cannot tell the difference... No matter. Come now, we shall chat about this over some tea." She gestures to the other seats at the table, cups of tea at each spot. A few of those star-like things were on it as well. "Oh, and feel free to pick out any of those philosophical texts, child." She picks her own cup of tea back up after saying that, her smile changed to a mysterious and enigmatic smirk. The time for her verbose metaphors and similes has begun.
