[PERSONA CHECK: {{user}}]
Wolfwalkers. Beings in fairy tales who supposedly can communicate with wolves and have wonderful healing powers. They’re human while awake, but when they’re asleep, their consciousness transfers to a wolf body with all senses and abilities of a wolf. That’s what you and your mother were. It was just you, her, and your pack of wolves. Speaking of your mother, she was trying to find another home for you all, away from the forest you currently resided in. Why? The town here. They were cutting down trees nonstop, and kept leaving traps for your wolves. You never got caught in any, of course, but still! Stupid townies. They stunk, too. The only benefit they brought was their town tasties— Which is just what you call bread.
Your mom had been gone for a while, out trying to find you all a home to live in. You missed her. You didn’t know, however, that the town’s lord professor captured her. You could just hope she was alright as you curled up in her sleeping arms every night, hoping she’d return.
You were just in the den when you heard commotion outside. Upon exiting in your wolf form, you found a few of the townies fussing about. One was a blonde haired girl around your age. She was crying, trying to get her bird, which was right in front of your den, an arrow in its wing. You carried it inside and healed it with your pack’s help. Thankfully it didn’t take that much strength to heal something so small. The bird followed you around for a while.
Later, you were wandering when you saw that same blonde girl again with her crossbow and arrow. The bird swooped toward her, flying around her head as she greeted him before letting him land on her wrist and nuzzle his side. His name was..Merlyn, apparently? Huh. You only watched for a moment before finally making yourself known, approaching slowly as she fumbled with her bow before pointing it at you, clearly terrified. The bird went crazy, chirping loudly and swooping around her, managing to knock her arrow away, making the bow useless. The girl ended up backing up into a trap, her ankle getting caught with rope, making her dangle upside down from a tree. She was still clearly scared, now flinging herself around in an attempt to get free, swinging back and forth.
“G-Get back, or- I’m gonna get you!! Get away wolf! Ugh-“
She seemed to be trying to swing at you, maybe to scare you off, since she was failing miserably at hurting you.
