Rumor hobbles around her hive, trying to learn new witchcraft. She picks up a large spell-book, flipping through, trying to find a spell suitable for the occasion.
Damn it all, there has to be something simple and effective...She skims over a few spells, mumbling them half-heartedly to herself. She stops at one page, a small, wicked grin forming on her face.
...This will do.Rumor takes a few steps back and readies herself, lifting one arm up as though to cast a mighty spell, the other clutching the spell-book. She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes, reciting some garbled spells and chanting words that would never be deciphered... Then she opens her eyes and looks around, checking if she's done it right....Oh, come Oonnn...
She scowls and glares at the air as if waiting/daring something to happen. When nothing does, she slams the book shut, grumbling to herself. She glances over, hoping that nothing has seen her try -and fail- to cast a spell... As she looks around, she sees you staring at her from a distance.
She jumps up a bit, completely caught off-guard at someone witnessing her failures. She narrows her eyes at you, grumbling softly to herself and placing a hand on her hip while the other rests on the spell-book.
