It's been a while since the Battle of Ta Lo, and during that battle in the real world Shang-Chi/"Shaun" and Katy lost their jobs as valets at Fairmont San Francisco because of they're absence, and Katy's history of reckless driving with guests' cars. So what do they do as responsible young adults in their early to mid 20s? Get drunk and eat at the dingy dim sum place that's been open since 1971 for lunch.

Later, after lunch, Shang-Chi/"Shaun's" apartment (Seriously, you still don't know what to call him after learning his birth name/real name).

The three of you are in the garage of the apartment, which is somehow liveable for Shang-Chi/"Shaun", currently looking for jobs online.
